Ukraine denied involvement in the strike on a bus with children in Bryansk region
The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets stated that Ukraine has no connection to the attack on the bus with children in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation.
According to him, due to the spread of information about this incident, he urgently contacted the Belarusian side and received initial data regarding the event.
“During the communication, I specifically emphasized: Ukraine has no relation to this event,” Lubinets stressed.
He emphasized that the Defense Forces of Ukraine do not strike civilian objects and peaceful population. According to him, on the territory of the Russian Federation, Ukrainian military target exclusively military objectives, while Russia attacks Ukrainian cities, residential buildings daily, causing civilian casualties.
“I do not rule out that this is another provocation or information operation primarily beneficial to the Russian Federation,” the Ombudsman noted.
He added that as the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights of Ukraine, he is ready to participate in establishing all circumstances of the incident and ensuring its impartial investigation.
