How a Stateless Person Can Obtain a Travel Document for Going Abroad – Procedure and Cost of the Service
A travel document for stateless persons to go abroad is issued to stateless persons who permanently or temporarily reside in Ukraine and do not have a travel document. This was reported by the Migration Service of Dnipropetrovsk region.
The document can be obtained by persons who have reached the age of 16, based on a personal application form submitted in person. If the person is under 16 years old or recognized as partially capable or incapable, the application is submitted on their behalf by one of the parents, adoptive parents, guardians, trustees, or another legal representative.
To obtain the document, it is necessary to submit the relevant documents to the unit of the State Migration Service and contact the territorial body or unit of the SMS to receive the ready travel document for stateless persons to go abroad.
The cost of issuance consists of several payments: a state duty of 85 hryvnias (according to paragraph 6 of article 3 of the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On State Duty"), an administrative service fee of 452 hryvnias, and the cost of the form – 6330 hryvnias.
At the same time, certain categories of citizens are exempt from paying the state duty, including persons classified in categories 1 and 2 of those affected by the Chernobyl disaster, disabled veterans of the Great Patriotic War, families of deceased or missing soldiers (partisans), as well as persons equated to them and disabled persons of groups I and II.
