Rescuers continue emergency restoration work at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra after a Russian drone hit the Holy Assumption Cathedral.

This was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko.

According to him, units of the State Emergency Service are carrying out work to protect the damaged structures of the shrine from adverse weather conditions and further destruction. Rescuers are covering the damaged areas.

“Where prayers were recently heard, today rescuers are working: restoration and repair work continues at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra following the strike by a Russian drone on the Holy Assumption Cathedral,” said the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
