In Cherkasy region, three teenagers tortured a 17-year-old boy in a garage — a criminal case has been opened
The police are investigating the torture of a minor in Cherkasy district. Law enforcement officers have already identified three teenagers suspected of abusing a 17-year-old boy.
According to the police, the victim's mother contacted the department. The woman reported that her son was abused by acquaintances. Police leadership and an investigative-operational group arrived at the scene.
Preliminary data indicates that on the same day, three minors aged 15 to 17 invited their friend to a garage. There, they beat the boy, humiliated him, and subjected him to various forms of abuse.
The police identified all participants in the incident and brought them to the police department. The teenagers were interviewed in the presence of their parents.
A criminal case has been opened under Part 2 of Article 127 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (torture). The article's sanction provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of five to ten years.
Investigative actions are currently ongoing. Soon, with the prosecutor's approval, a decision will be made regarding notifying the suspects and the final legal qualification of their actions.
The reasons for the cruel treatment of the minor and all circumstances of the incident are being established.
