Volodymyr Zelensky Held a Phone Conversation with J.D. Vance: What Was Discussed
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, announced that he had held a phone conversation with the Vice President of the United States of America, J.D. Vance.
"We discussed the results of our recent meeting with President Trump in Washington – positive and productive. Russian air strikes on our country continue, and air defence – specifically interceptors for the 'Patriots' against ballistic missiles – remains a top priority," he stated.
The head of state emphasised that they also discussed with the Vice President the consequences of the Russian war for global markets.
"We agreed that our teams will stay in touch and work through everything discussed today. Thank you to the United States for supporting Ukraine and our people," he added.
