Up to 480 Thousand Hryvnias for Home Heating: The Government Expanded the Assistance Program for Ukrainians
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has expanded its support programme for individuals planning to install autonomous heating in their homes, as announced by Prime Minister Serhiy Koretskyi.
He stated that a preferential loan of up to UAH 250,000 or UAH 480,000 is available for the purchase and installation of solid fuel stoves, chimneys, and related materials.
"The state will compensate 10% or 20% of the principal loan amount, depending on its size. The preferential interest rate will be 0% in the first year, 5% in the second, and 7% in the third.
There is a limit on house area, which must not exceed 300 sq. m.
I urge all citizens who wish to, or have planned to, install autonomous heating to take advantage of this state support programme," he added.
