Donald Trump gave Iran 60 days for an agreement, otherwise – the US will resume bombings
US President Donald Trump stated that the United States may resume strikes on Iran if a corresponding agreement is not reached within 60 days.
According to Trump, the current agreements are in the form of a memorandum of understanding, and the further development of the situation will depend on the results of the negotiation process.
“This is a memorandum of understanding. If nothing comes out of it in 60 days, it’s not a big deal — we will start bombing again,” the US president said.
At the same time, he emphasized that he would not want such a development of events because, according to him, the negotiation process is progressing successfully.
Trump also stressed that the United States will not allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons.
“Maybe we will have to do it because we will never allow them to get nuclear weapons,” he said.
