As previously reported by the "Judicial and Legal Newspaper", Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote an open letter to Putin proposing to meet and "end the war." Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin stated that he reviewed the open letter from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy but declared that he sees no point in a personal meeting. He also reiterated Russia's demands regarding the end of the war and expressed his intention to pursue the so-called "denazification" of Ukraine.

During the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Putin said he reviewed Volodymyr Zelenskyy's open letter, which was shown to him by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

At the same time, Putin directly stated that he himself sees no point in a personal meeting with the President of Ukraine.

"I see no point for us to meet, the Ukrainian side's goal is to stop our advance, while we need agreements. Before meeting with Zelenskyy, a solution to the conflict must be found," he said.

The Russian president stated that Russia will continue to pursue the so-called "denazification of Ukraine." According to him, hostilities will end after Russia achieves the goals it has set for itself.
