Elon Musk Became the First Dollar Trillionaire in History
American businessman Elon Musk became the world's first trillionaire following the record IPO of his aerospace company SpaceX.
Before the IPO, Forbes estimated the entrepreneur's wealth at around 780 billion dollars. Now, together with the capital of the automobile company Tesla and other assets (including Neuralink, The Boring Company, xAI, and the social network X), his total wealth exceeds 1.1 trillion dollars. This was reported by Reuters.
On June 11, SpaceX raised a record 75 billion dollars during its initial public offering. However, analysts warn that the company's estimated value of 1.77 trillion dollars is largely based on technologies that require years or even decades to become commercially viable.
