The State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection explained how Ukrainians should act if a tourist trip did not meet the contract terms and the tour operator refuses to resolve the issue.

Where to turn

The agency notes that if the tour operator or travel agent did not provide the services stipulated in the contract and did not resolve the situation, the consumer has the right to contact the territorial body of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection in their region.

What documents are needed

For consideration of the appeal, it is recommended to provide:

  • photo and video materials confirming the violation of vacation conditions;
  • a copy of the tourist service contract;
  • payment documents confirming the expenses incurred.

How to file a complaint

The appeal must clearly describe the nature of the violation, specify the name of the business entity, and formulate your own demands regarding the resolution of the situation.
