Weather will change sharply in Kyiv and Kyiv region: Level I danger announced
The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center reported that within the next hour on June 8, with thunderstorms continuing until the end of the day, heavy rain is forecasted in the Kyiv region.
Due to dangerous meteorological phenomena, Level I danger, yellow, has been declared across the Kyiv region.
"Weather conditions may lead to complications in the operation of energy, construction, and utility enterprises, as well as traffic," the agency added.
In turn, the Kyiv City State Administration reminded the phone numbers to call in case of fallen trees on roadways or sidewalks.
In case of flooding of roadways or sidewalks, contact the dispatcher of the Communal Corporation "Kyivavtodor": 0442847419.
If a tree has fallen or branches have broken – call the emergency dispatch service of Communal Association "Kyivzelenbud": 0442724018.
Also, when falling trees or branches threaten life, contact rescuers: 101 or 0444303713 (phone of municipal emergency and rescue service "Kyiv Rescue Service").
In case of injury to people, call 103 immediately.
