From June 28, the high-speed train Dnipro — Odesa will operate
Ukrzaliznytsia announced that from June 28, a new daily high-speed "Intercity" train №753/754 Dnipro — Odesa will be introduced. Ticket sales are already open.
"This is the first regular high-speed 'Intercity' train in the history of independent Ukraine that will connect Dnipro and Odesa," the statement reads.
Also, from June 27, a new daily high-speed "Intercity" train №765/766 Kyiv — Odesa will start operating.
In addition, Ukrzaliznytsia is increasing the frequency of high-speed trains №763/764 Kyiv — Odesa and №748/747 Kyiv — Ternopil to six times a week instead of three.
"The appointment of new services and the increase in the frequency of existing ones was made possible thanks to the optimization of the turnover of high-speed rolling stock.
A new cycle of high-speed electric trains has been formed for the summer period along the Kyiv — Odesa — Dnipro triangle," the company added.
Ukrzaliznytsia added that this scheme allows the same rolling stock to consecutively serve several high-demand routes and use the existing fleet more efficiently.
