A road traffic accident occurred on Chokolivskyi Boulevard in Kyiv, which, according to preliminary information, resulted in fatalities. As reported by the Kyiv Patrol Police, due to the accident, traffic on Chokolivskyi Boulevard is congested in the direction of Vadym Hetman Street.

The spokesperson of the National Police, Yuliia Hirdvilis, clarified in a comment to the media that the accident happened at the intersection of Chokolivskyi Boulevard and Umanska Street.

According to preliminary data, the driver of a "Mercedes" car, moving at high speed, lost control and drove onto the pedestrian area. It is preliminarily reported that four people died.
