Competition for appellate courts: three candidates confirmed the ability to administer justice
On Monday, June 1, the plenary session of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine considered the issue of confirming the ability of three candidates to administer justice in the Kyiv Appellate Court and one candidate in the Lviv Appellate Court.
Olena Anatoliyivna Buzunko and Tetyana Vitaliyivna Krutsenko confirmed their ability to administer justice in the Kyiv Appellate Court. Hanna Volodymyrivna Vysotska did not confirm the ability to administer justice in the Kyiv Appellate Court.
In the Lviv Appellate Court, the ability to administer justice was confirmed by Andriy Olehovych Lazor.
The HQCJ reminded that 93 candidates submitted applications to participate in the competition for 45 vacant judge positions in the Kyiv Appellate Court.
In total, interviews were conducted with 51 candidates for the Kyiv Appellate Court: 23 candidates confirmed the ability to administer justice, 17 candidates did not confirm, and interviews with 11 candidates will take place in the plenary session. Two candidates withdrew from the competition.
For participation in the competition for 28 vacant judge positions in the Lviv Appellate Court, 55 candidates applied.
In total, interviews were conducted with 42 candidates: 28 candidates confirmed the ability to administer justice in the appellate general court, 8 did not confirm, and interviews with 6 candidates will take place in the plenary session of the Commission. One candidate withdrew from the competition.
