Selection for the position of local court judge: results of the fourth stage of the qualification exam published
On June 17, the High Qualification Commission of Judges approved the coded and decoded results of the practical task specialization of the local commercial court (the fourth stage of the qualification exam) performed on October 9–10, 2025, by candidates for the position of local court judge and judges who expressed the intention to be transferred to another local court.
The HQCJ reminded that the selection of candidates for the position of local court judge was announced by the Commission's decision dated December 11, 2024, No. 366/zp-24, taking into account 1,800 projected vacant judge positions in local courts, of which 200 are in local commercial courts.
According to the decision of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine dated December 11, 2024, No. 367/zp-24, applications were announced to be accepted from judges intending to be transferred to another local court for taking the qualification exam.
A total of 2,461 candidates for the position of local court judge and 140 judges who expressed the intention to be transferred to another local court were admitted to take the qualification exam specializing in the local commercial court.
A total of 389 candidates for the position of local court judge and 22 judges who expressed the intention to be transferred to another local court were admitted to perform the practical task specializing in the local commercial court.
The passing score for the fourth stage of the qualification exam is 75 percent of the maximum possible score, or 112.5 points.
The results of the practical task specializing in the commercial court were established for 406 persons (5 did not appear):
1) Passed the passing score – 319 persons;
2) Did not pass the passing score – 87 persons:
from 72 to 99.34 points – 11 persons;
from 100 to 112 points – 76 persons.
