Over the weekend, at one of the beaches in Hydropark, two men aged 20 and 25 jumped from a pier while swimming in the Dnipro River and did not resurface.

In Dnipro district of the capital, the police are investigating the circumstances of the death of two citizens of another state during water recreation.

According to preliminary data, at the weekend at one of the beaches in Hydropark, two men aged 20 and 25 jumped from a pier while swimming in the Dnipro River and did not resurface.

Rescuers later found the bodies of the deceased. The identities have been established — they are citizens of another state.

Following the incident, the investigative department of the Dnipro police administration has initiated a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine with an additional note of "accident."
