They want to remove training cars from the roads during peak hours to reduce traffic jams
In large cities of Ukraine, ways to reduce traffic jams during peak hours are increasingly being discussed. One of the proposed initiatives is the possible introduction of time restrictions for the movement of training cars during the busiest times.
A petition No. 41/009984-26ep regarding the introduction of time restrictions for the movement of training cars during peak hours in large cities has been registered on the government website. The authors of the proposal believe that this could positively affect road traffic and reduce congestion during periods of the highest road load.
Specifically, it is proposed to allow the movement of training cars only between 10 AM and 5 PM. According to the initiators, training cars, due to their lower speed, can complicate traffic flow during peak hours, which affects fuel consumption and the environmental situation in cities.
The authors of the appeal also note that due to traffic jams, drivers spend more time commuting to work and more fuel amid constantly rising prices.
Recall that in Ukraine it is proposed to amend the Traffic Rules and regulate the movement of motorcycles between traffic lanes (lane splitting).
