NEURC proposes to increase the electricity transmission tariff for NPC "Ukrenergo" from July 1, 2026, by 21.62% — to 903.53 UAH/MWh excluding VAT. The corresponding draft resolution was approved by the regulator during a meeting that was broadcast online.

According to the document, the transmission tariff for "green" electrometallurgy enterprises may rise to 535.97 UAH/MWh, which is 42% higher than the current rate.

It is also proposed to revise the dispatching management tariff — it is planned to be increased by 7.83%, to 118.64 UAH/MWh.

NEURC notes that the tariff component for fulfilling special obligations of "Ukrenergo" regarding support for electricity producers from alternative sources will amount to 367.56 UAH/MWh.

At the same time, NPC "Ukrenergo" itself previously appealed to the regulator with a proposal to set even higher tariffs. The company requested to raise the electricity transmission tariff to 958.87 UAH/MWh, which is 29% higher than the current level, and the dispatching tariff to 171.12 UAH/MWh.

Among the reasons for revising the tariffs, the company cited currency exchange rate fluctuations, which increase the costs of fulfilling special obligations to "green" energy producers, since calculations are tied to the euro.

In addition, "Ukrenergo" drew attention to the reduction of forecasted volumes of electricity production and transmission in the United Energy System of Ukraine, which affects the volume of tariff revenues.

Another factor named by the company was the change in price caps on the electricity market from May 1, 2026, which increased the weighted average electricity price for settlements between market participants.
