The Ministry of Foreign Affairs denied reports about the US embassy leaving Kyiv
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Heorhiy Tykhyi, told journalists that the information about the alleged departure of the US embassy from Kyiv is not true.
“The information about the US embassy leaving is not true,” emphasized the MFA spokesperson.
Earlier, the media circulated a statement by the EU's chief diplomat Kaia Kallas, who said that after Russia's threats to strike Kyiv, all European embassies remained in the capital, while the American one allegedly left. Later, mentions of the US were removed from the European Union diplomatic service website.
After that, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine stated that such information is not true.
