The State Tax Service is implementing a new electronic service for business entities operating in the circulation of fuel, alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, and liquids for electronic cigarettes. The new tool is designed to help businesses respond promptly to changes affecting licensing data.

As reported by the Acting Head of the State Tax Service, Lesya Karnaukh, entrepreneurs often find it difficult to track all changes in documentation and state registers, especially when it comes to licenses, cash register devices, and updating accounting information.

According to her, the service will operate automatically and send taxpayers notifications about the need to update data in the licensee registers after changes are made to information about cash registers or software cash registers, cash transaction books, or cash registers.

Information must be updated in the Unified Register of Licensees and Fuel Circulation Locations, as well as in the Unified Register of Licensees for the production and circulation of ethyl alcohol, alcohol distillates, alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, tobacco raw materials, and liquids used in electronic cigarettes.

The State Tax Service emphasizes that timely updates are crucial for businesses. Data discrepancies in the registers may lead to significant financial penalties, which can reach up to 200% of the value of the sold products. In case of repeated violations, the business entity also risks losing its license.
