Employees at Risk of Losing Booking: Government Gives Business Three Months to Verify Critical Status
The Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, Oleksiy Sobolev, announced that enterprises have until September 1 to confirm their critical status.
According to him, the last reconfirmation of enterprise criticality was conducted in December 2024 and lasted three months. At that time, all enterprises reconfirmed their status, and salary criteria were also raised.
He also noted that the real wage (taking inflation into account) increased by 7%, which confirms the validity of the salary criterion.
The new reconfirmation cycle will also last 3 months — enterprises must complete the procedure by September 1.
“Just like last time, in December 2024, enterprises will be given 3 months to reconfirm their critical status. That is, by September 1 they must complete this mechanism. The mechanism is already clear, the packages are ready, it will take no longer than last time, and reviewing the criticality of enterprises that are truly critical to the state economy once every 1.5 years under martial law seems fair to us because the situation changes,” said Sobolev.
The government also noted that consultations with business were held before implementing the changes, and the criteria were supported.
