Russia is preparing a new massive strike – Volodymyr Zelensky
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that Ukraine has intelligence information about Russia preparing a new massive strike.
According to him, it is important that international partners are informed about the situation, as Russia continues to rely on missile attacks and war rather than diplomatic steps.
“First of all, this means that additional sanctions pressure on Russia is needed and that our agreements with partners on air defense cannot be delayed in implementation,” he noted.
In this context, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he discussed with Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha the relevant tasks: what needs to be done in the coming weeks and which partner steps can most effectively support our defense.
“Ballistic missile defense is a key task. We are also preparing our detailed proposals for a new European sanctions package and additional measures against circumventing existing sanctions. Thanks to everyone who helps protect lives,” the head of state concluded.
