As of the end of 2025, appellate and local courts were provided with 772 buildings and premises. At the same time, the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine caused extensive damage and destruction to court buildings and premises, as well as bodies and institutions of the justice system.

As indicated by the High Council of Justice, as a result of hostilities, missile strikes, and air attacks, a significant number of facilities, including those in areas of active combat, temporarily occupied territories, or zones with increased risk of shelling, suffered damage to structures, engineering networks, and communications, which significantly complicates or makes their use for administering justice impossible.

According to the State Judicial Administration, from the beginning of the full-scale invasion until the end of 2025, 176 premises of 167 courts, bodies, and institutions of the justice system were damaged. Of these, 67 premises housed or housed 154 courts.

In addition, 20 buildings and premises of 19 courts were destroyed, including two buildings partially.
