The Vinnytsia Regional Prosecutor's Office has sent an indictment to court against a former official of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Vinnytsia region. The case was based on the results of a full declaration check conducted by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention.

The former official is accused of providing false information in the 2023 declaration amounting to over 2 million UAH.

According to the NACP, during the inspection it was established that the declarant did not disclose several property objects and expenses. In particular, this concerns an unfinished residential building with an area of 95 sq. m worth over 1.4 million UAH. The NACP noted that the land plot under it was purchased by the woman as "free from buildings," although the unfinished construction object was already located on this territory.

Also, the declaration did not include a pharmacy premises with an area of almost 89 sq. m in Vinnytsia region worth 652 thousand UAH, as well as one-time expenses for the purchase of household appliances exceeding 180 thousand UAH.

Furthermore, according to the NACP, the former official overstated the amount of her own funds in bank accounts by more than 260 thousand UAH.

Additionally, during the inspection, the NACP found signs of unjustified assets amounting to 2.6 million UAH; the materials were forwarded to the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.
