Turkey Updated Its Ambassador to Ukraine – Who Will Lead the Diplomatic Mission in Kyiv
Turkey has appointed its current ambassador to the Netherlands, Fatma Ceren Yazgan, as the new ambassador to Ukraine. This was reported by Ahaber, citing sources from the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It is noted that her predecessor, Mustafa Levent Bilgen, who held the position of ambassador to Ukraine since 2023, has received a new appointment and will lead Turkey's first diplomatic mission in Iceland, where an embassy is being opened for the first time.
The announcement states that the current Turkish ambassador to the Netherlands, Fatma Ceren Yazgan, has been appointed as the new head of the diplomatic mission in Kyiv.
The decision regarding the personnel changes was communicated to the diplomatic corps by Turkey's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan, as part of the regular rotation of heads of embassies and permanent representations abroad.
