Payments to war-affected critical infrastructure workers in Ukraine have been expanded
The Cabinet of Ministers has amended the CMU resolution dated 27.12.2023 No. 1396 "Some issues of social protection and social support for certain categories of the population."
Changes have been made to the Procedure for the appointment and payment of one-time financial assistance for harm to life and health caused to employees of critical infrastructure facilities, civil servants, and local government officials as a result of the Russian Federation's military aggression against Ukraine.
The procedure for drawing up and certifying a personal order in case of death has been improved. An additional payment of the difference in the received one-time financial assistance is provided in case of a change in the disability group. Deadlines for exercising the right to receive one-time financial assistance have been established – during martial law and three years after its termination or cancellation. One-time financial assistance payments have been extended to employees of branches, structural units, and representative offices of critical infrastructure facilities, among others.
A change has been made to the Procedure for the use of state budget funds for social support payments to certain categories of the population regarding the allocation of funds under the budget program with the code 2501250 for the payment of one-time financial assistance to employees of critical infrastructure operators, their branches and representative offices, as well as persons affected at critical infrastructure facilities in connection with the performance of official (service, professional, labor) duties.
