Over 14% of Officials Declared Pension Payments in NACP Declarations — Including 55 Deputies and 858 Judges
According to declaration analytics, 55 current members of parliament and 858 judges declared receiving pension payments. This accounts for about 14% of all officials who submitted annual declarations last year.
The highest pension payments among the parliamentary corps reached over 2.3 million UAH per year, which is about 192 thousand UAH per month. Also among the top were deputies whose annual pensions exceeded 1.4 million UAH and 973 thousand UAH.
At the same time, even higher figures were recorded in the judicial system. The largest declared pension amounted to almost 3 million UAH per year — about 250 thousand UAH per month. Other high payments ranged between 2.7 and 2.8 million UAH per year.
Despite some record amounts, OpenDataBot analysts noted that the median figures of typical pensions in the two groups are almost identical: about 229.6 thousand UAH per year for deputies and 227.1 thousand UAH for judges.
The average pension in Ukraine is about 7,236 UAH per month (approximately 85 thousand UAH per year).
Analysts point out that despite the cancellation of special pensions for new recipients, some current officials continue to receive significant payments — due to previously acquired rights, court decisions, or additional titles.
