The State Tax Service Introduced a "Green Corridor" for Veterans: How Priority Tax Services Now Work
The State Tax Service has introduced an updated system for serving veterans and their families. It includes separate interaction rules, enhanced support, and additional mechanisms to assist in obtaining tax services and consultations.
According to the State Tax Service, special emphasis has been placed on simplifying and making services more convenient for veterans. Standards of communication, assistance algorithms, and responses to problematic situations during inquiries have been established for the Service's employees.
A "green corridor" principle has been introduced for veterans, which includes:
- priority registration in the electronic queue;
- priority service at Taxpayer Service Centers and Tax Consultant Offices;
- a separate phone line at the Contact Center;
- a special thematic section in the State Tax Service chatbot.
A separate area of work is supporting veteran entrepreneurship and facilitating the professional adaptation of servicemen after returning to civilian life.
The tax service notes that some veterans are already working within the State Tax Service, and efforts continue to expand their involvement in public service, particularly in Tax Consultant Offices and Taxpayer Service Centers.

To inform veterans about employment opportunities, the State Tax Service cooperates with the Ministry for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine and veteran organizations.
The agency emphasizes that creating a barrier-free environment, developing accessible services, and expanding opportunities for veterans' professional realization are part of the systematic support for Ukraine's defenders.
