A Su-24M Combat Aircraft Crashed in Khmelnytskyi Region: Pilot and Navigator Killed
A frontline bomber Su-24M of the 7th Tactical Aviation Brigade named after Petro Frank of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine crashed in Khmelnytskyi region. This was reported by the Air Forces.
It is noted that around 7:00 PM the aircraft crew was performing a mission when the crash occurred.
As a result of the plane's fall, both crew members died — pilot Major Bohdan Zaharulko and navigator Senior Lieutenant Bohdan Babenko.
Currently, rescuers and law enforcement officers are working at the crash site. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties among the civilian population.
