Zelenskyy announced a new meeting with Trump within the framework of the G7 summit
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that within the next day, Ukrainian and American delegations will hold a series of negotiations, and he did not rule out another meeting with US President Donald Trump on June 17.
According to Zelenskyy, many important technical consultations are planned ahead, including with the participation of the British side.
“The Ukrainian and American teams will meet throughout the day, there are many important technical meetings. I think tomorrow we will meet once again separately with US President Donald Trump,” said Zelenskyy in a comment to «Suspilne».
The President also said that during the current meeting with Trump, the parties discussed strengthening the Ukrainian air defense system. In particular, they talked about the possibility of granting Ukraine licenses to produce missiles for the Patriot surface-to-air missile systems.
