The panel of judges of the High Anti-Corruption Court announced the verdict for the judge of the Turkivskyi District Court of Lviv region in the bribery case.

“The court found him guilty of committing a criminal offense under part 3 of article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine,” the HACC stated.

According to media reports, this concerns Luka Kril.

The accused was sentenced to 8 years of imprisonment. In addition, he was deprived of the right to hold positions in state authorities and local self-government bodies (except elected positions) for three years, and all his property was confiscated.

The verdict in case No. 991/1081/19 can be appealed within thirty days from the date of its announcement by submitting an appeal through the High Anti-Corruption Court to the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court.
