In Zaporizhzhia, a father who systematically raped his daughter will stand trial
The case of a 46-year-old resident of Zaporizhzhia, accused of systematically raping and corrupting his 12-year-old daughter, has been sent to court. According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, the suspect denies his guilt.
The investigation established that the abuse lasted throughout 2024–2025, when the father was alone with the child. To intimidate the girl, he used physical and psychological pressure: threatening to take away her gadgets or complain to her mother about her "bad behavior."
The victim dared to tell her mother about the experienced violence only in December 2025, after which the woman immediately contacted law enforcement. The man was detained and taken into custody without the right to bail.
In addition to sexual crimes, the suspect is also charged with illegal handling of weapons.
