Ukraine and Germany Signed an Agreement on Developing Air Defense Against Ballistics
Defense Ministers of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov and Germany Boris Pistorius signed an agreement allowing the countries to jointly develop new air defense systems to counter Russian ballistics. This was announced by Boris Pistorius during the opening of the Ramstein contact group meeting.
He emphasized that he was impressed by the innovativeness of the Ukrainian military, and Germany will learn how to conduct war within the framework of partnership with Ukraine.
It is noted that the agreement will allow the joint development of new air defense systems to counter ballistic missiles together with Germany. The German minister stated that seven German companies are already interested in this agreement.
During the meeting, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine "has the tools to put Russia on the path of diplomacy," but Russian ballistic missiles remain a problem.
"Therefore, today Ukraine and Germany are making a very important, in my opinion, joint step. We have certain technologies, Germany has certain technologies. And today our defense ministers have already signed an agreement to combine these capabilities together," said the President.
