Due to repair works at the “Shehyni – Medyka” checkpoint, bus carriers will be able to operate regular international routes also through the “Nyzhankovychi – Malhowychi” and “Smilnytsia – Kroscienko” checkpoints.

The Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Poland, and the Ministry of Interior of Poland have agreed on the possibility of using permits for regular international passenger transportation, issued for the “Shehyni – Medyka” checkpoint, also at the “Nyzhankovychi – Malhowychi” and “Smilnytsia – Kroscienko” checkpoints.

The decision was made due to repair works on the Polish side of the border at the “Shehyni” checkpoint, which started on June 15 and will last until the end of 2027. This may cause delays in bus processing.

From now on, carriers can use the relevant permits effectively at three checkpoints.

The necessary changes have already been made to the “eQueue” system, so carriers can book border crossing times with such permits through two additional checkpoints.
