President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the results of actions by Ukrainian forces within the framework of so-called "long-range sanctions" against targets on the territory of Russia and temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Zelenskyy noted that flight restrictions were introduced at six Russian airports. In addition, according to him, during the period from the evening of the previous day, air raid alerts were announced in 28 regions of Russia.
Separately, the president reported on the damage to the military logistics of Russian forces in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine continues to implement the plan of long-range measures in response to Russia's refusal to end the war, as well as carrying out tasks related to "mid-strikes." He recalled that Ukraine proposed various formats of negotiations, but, according to him, the response was continued aggression and attempts to expand it.
"It is logical that the war returns to where it came from. Ukraine needs peace," the President said.
