President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Geneva, where he held a meeting with the President of Switzerland Guy Parmelin. During the negotiations, the parties discussed support for Ukraine, strengthening air defense, sanctions pressure on Russia, and cooperation in the energy sector.

The President of Ukraine informed Guy Parmelin about the ongoing Russian attacks, the situation on the front, and Ukraine's needs to strengthen the air defense system.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy also spoke about Ukrainian long-range strikes on targets in Russian territory. According to him, such actions force Russia to feel the consequences of the war it unleashed. Special attention during the meeting was given to the partners' sanction measures that could increase pressure on the Russian Federation and contribute to its return to the negotiation process.

In addition, the presidents discussed cooperation in the energy sector. Zelenskyy noted that Switzerland helped Ukraine get through the past winter and expressed hope for further support in this direction.

"During the meeting with President Guy Parmelin after arriving in Geneva, I thanked Switzerland for all the support provided and, in particular, for the willingness to help bring peace closer," said the President of Ukraine.
