Court employee from Uman accused of hiding property and income worth over 5.4 million UAH
The Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor's Office has sent an indictment to the court against the secretary of the court session of the Uman City District Court of Cherkasy region for declaring false information.
According to the investigation, based on the materials of a full check by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP), false information worth over 5.4 million UAH was found in the 2023 declaration.
As established by the NACP, the official did not declare property in Uman registered to her husband, including:
- three land plots, one of which has non-residential premises. The total estimated value of the assets is over 4.7 million UAH;
- 3 apartments purchased at prices at least three times lower than market value;
- own income of 110 thousand UAH.
As noted by the NACP, the official denied knowledge of the mentioned property, but all real estate objects were purchased with her notarized consent.
The woman is charged with intentionally submitting knowingly false information in the declaration (Part 1, Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
