In July 2026, some workers in Ukraine expect the traditional days off and possible changes in the work schedule due to the public holiday — Ukrainian Statehood Day, which falls in the middle of the month.

Under normal circumstances, this day would be an official day off. However, due to the martial law in Ukraine, the regulations regarding holidays and non-working days defined by Article 73 of the Labor Code do not apply. This means that an additional day off on July 15, 2026, is not provided, and this day is a working day for most employees unless otherwise established by the employer.

July has 31 calendar days, of which 23 are working days, and 8 fall on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays). Thus, the overall structure of the month remains standard and does not foresee additional changes in the distribution of working and rest time.
