Canadian Prime Minister Carney Announced a Change in Trump's Position on the War in Ukraine
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney stated that the US and President Donald Trump have changed their viewpoint regarding the war in Ukraine. He said this on June 17 during a conversation with journalists.
According to Carney, in the last 36 hours he has had seven or eight conversations with US President Donald Trump, during which various topics were discussed – including Iran, Lebanon, and Ukraine.
“In discussions about Ukraine, there is a change in the US position, which, in our opinion, is more realistic given the situation on the battlefield, the possible outcome of the war, and Russia's defeat.
There are still many risks, but I would like to emphasize the change in tone, the change in opportunities in Lebanon and Ukraine. And these are game-changing factors,” said Carney.
