Military personnel will receive 25% from licensing their own defense developments
The Ministry of Defense is implementing a reward system for servicemen who create technologies for the front. Under the new rules, the authors of developments will receive a percentage from their subsequent licensing. This was announced by the Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov.
New mechanism for licensing defense developments
The government has supported a procedure that allows military developments to be transferred to mass production through a transparent paid licensing mechanism.
From now on, the state will be able to officially license technologies created in the Defense Forces for further use in production.
Reward for the authors of developments
According to the new system, at least 25% of the income from licensing will be received directly by the military — the authors of the respective technologies.
As the Minister of Defense noted, the goal of the decision is to create a transparent and fair incentive system for those who develop innovative solutions in wartime conditions.
Where the remaining funds will be directed
The other part of the licensing funds will be used for the development of defense innovations. This includes:
- strengthening units where new technological solutions are created;
- development of defense projects;
- protection of intellectual property rights.
It is noted that the new approach is intended to ensure competitive and transparent rules for working with state defense developments, as well as to stimulate the development of technologies in the security and defense sector.
