According to the investigation, at the end of January 2024, the woman, who was raising the child alone, gave birth to a girl named Kvitoslava.

During February–March 2024, the woman repeatedly inflicted bodily injuries on the child.

As a result, the infant sustained:

  • fractures of skull bones;
  • rib fractures;
  • severe traumatic brain injury;

  • other brain injuries indicating repeated trauma.

The child was brought to the hospital in serious condition by her grandmother. The infant spent almost five months in inpatient treatment.

The head of the Slobidskyi District Prosecutor's Office in Kharkiv handed the mother a suspicion notice on the grounds of:

  • intentional infliction of moderate bodily injuries;
