Ukrposhta temporarily suspends the operation of mobile offices in Nikopol district
On Saturday, June 20, Russian forces once again attacked Nikopol with FPV drones. Two Ukrposhta vehicles providing postal services to community residents were hit. As a result of the attack, the vehicles were destroyed. This was reported by the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development.
No employees were injured in the incident. During the air raid alert, staff were in shelter.
This is the fourth Ukrposhta vehicle lost in the Nikopol district in just the past week due to Russian shelling.
The decision to temporarily suspend the operation of mobile offices was made for the safety of employees and community residents. Alternative solutions and additional protective measures are currently being developed,” the statement said.
It is expected that mobile offices will resume work in the community within a day.
