In Kyiv, a Mercedes driver crashed into a pedestrian zone: four dead so far, photos
The police are establishing the circumstances of a fatal road traffic accident that occurred in the Solomianskyi district of Kyiv.
As reported by the police, the accident happened around 5:30 PM at the intersection of Vadym Hetman and Ushynskyi streets. According to preliminary data, the Mercedes driver was moving at high speed, lost control, and drove into the pedestrian zone in the underground passage.
It has been preliminarily established that as a result of the accident, four people died at the scene, and three others were injured.
As previously reported by the police, traffic at the site of the tragedy is complicated.
