CCU: 84 sessions were held and 63 acts were adopted in May
In the Constitutional Court of Ukraine in May 2026, 84 sessions were held, including:
14 plenary sessions and 8 sessions of the Grand Chamber of the Court;
2 Court sessions;
3 plenary sessions and 12 sessions of the First Senate of the Court;
24 plenary sessions and 7 sessions of the Second Senate of the Court;
14 meetings of the judges' collegiums of the First and Second Senates of the Court.
At these sessions, the Court adopted 63 acts, including:
1 Decision of the Grand Chamber of the Court;
17 rulings of the Grand Chamber of the Court;
10 rulings of the First Senate of the Court;
7 rulings of the Second Senate of the Court;
28 rulings of the judges' collegiums of the Court's senates.
During this period, 72 constitutional complaints were received by the Court. As a result of preliminary examination, 37 constitutional complaints were distributed among the judges of the Court. 35 constitutional complaints were returned to the subjects of the right to constitutional complaint as they did not meet the formal requirements of the Law of Ukraine "On the Constitutional Court of Ukraine."
Also, the Secretariat of the Court prepared and sent 43 responses to requests for public information and citizens' appeals.
