In Sumy region, a former service center official stood trial for false declaration
The Okhtyrka City District Court of Sumy Region found the former administrator of the territorial service center (TSC) in the city of Okhtyrka guilty of declaring false information. This was reported by the NACP.
The basis for the verdict included materials from a full check of the 2024 declaration.
During the check, it was established that the official used a bank card of a relative residing in the territory of the Russian Federation and during 2024 received funds totaling over 2.5 million UAH on it from third parties. After receiving the funds, he used them for his own needs.
The court approved a plea agreement and sentenced the official to a fine of 3,000 non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens, amounting to 51,000 UAH, with deprivation of the right to hold positions related to organizational, administrative, and economic functions in state authorities and local self-government bodies for 1 year.
Also, as stated in the court verdict, the declarant transferred 49,000 UAH to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The verdict will come into legal force within thirty days from the date of its announcement.
