In Kharkiv region, a cruel blogger was exposed: he set his dog on foxes for likes
In Kharkiv Region, law enforcement officers exposed a 42-year-old resident of Lyubotyn who set his hunting dog on helpless wild animals in a local forest for social media views.
As reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, the man first lured wild foxes into thread traps, then gave his jagdterrier the command "attack." The dog bit the animals, causing torn wounds from which they died.
Moreover, in one episode, after the dog pulled a fox out of its den and held it by the neck, the hunter struck the animal several times on the head with a rifle. When the wounded animal tried to escape, the man shot in its direction and then again set the jagdterrier on it.
"In total, at least five foxes were killed. The abuser recorded all the atrocities on his mobile phone and posted them on his YouTube channel and Facebook page," the prosecutor's office added.
Under the procedural guidance of the Nemyshlyansky District Prosecutor's Office of Kharkiv, the man was notified of suspicion of animal cruelty.
