In Kharkiv region, a group from the Territorial Recruitment Center was beaten using tear gas — suspects face up to 7 years imprisonment
In Kharkiv Region, the police have reported suspicion against four men suspected of attacking servicemen of the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center and committing hooliganism. This was reported by Kharkiv Region police.
According to the investigation, on May 26, in the village of Sakhnovshchyna, a notification group from one of the district Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centers arrived in the settlement to perform official duties.
After arrival, a conflict arose between the servicemen and a group of local residents. The men began to make threats, after which they attacked the representatives of the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center, causing bodily injuries.
It was preliminarily established that one of the suspects used a metal telescopic baton. He damaged the service vehicle with it and struck the victims. During the conflict, the offenders also used tear and irritant substances.
As a result of the incident, the servicemen received injuries of varying severity.
After conducting operational-search and investigative measures, law enforcement officers identified all participants in the incident and detained them in accordance with the law.
Currently, four men have been notified of suspicion. In particular, a 36-year-old man is charged under Part 2 of Article 350 and Part 2 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, a 29-year-old under Part 2 of Article 296, a 34-year-old under Part 2 of Article 350, and another 29-year-old under Part 4 of Article 296 and Part 2 of Article 350 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The sanctions of the incriminated articles provide for up to seven years of imprisonment.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing. Law enforcement officers are establishing all circumstances of the incident and possible other involved persons.
