How a Pensioner Can Check the Fact of Physical Identification for Receiving a Pension
The Pension Fund of Ukraine clarified how a pensioner can verify the fact of undergoing physical identification.
The agency notes that for users with the status of "pensioner" on the PFU electronic services web portal, a special service called "My Identification" is available.
This section displays information about the date of the last identification and the method of its conduct. Thus, a pensioner can independently check whether the procedure was carried out in 2026.
If identification has not been performed, the "Date" and "Source" fields in the service remain empty.
It should be noted that according to Article 47-1 of the Law of Ukraine "On Compulsory State Pension Insurance," pension payments to persons temporarily residing outside Ukraine are made on the condition that the person undergoes physical identification by December 31 of each calendar year.
