Resilience Centers Will Continue Operating Until 2027
The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to extend the experimental project of Resilience Centers in territorial communities until November 2027. This will allow continued access to psychosocial support for the population.
As noted by the Ministry of Social Policy, the government decision will enable millions of Ukrainians to continue using services aimed at supporting mental health and overcoming the consequences of the war.
The project's goal is to reduce stress and anxiety levels among citizens, as well as to develop skills for coping with difficult life circumstances and supporting mental health within families.
“Extending this project is an investment in people, in the country's ability to recover. We must ensure that in every community there is a space where a person can restore their internal resources and cope with difficult life situations,” emphasized the Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity, Denys Ulyutin.
The project also includes mandatory regular professional training and supervision for center staff. This is intended to ensure an adequate level of quality psychosocial services in communities.
Resilience Centers are barrier-free spaces where community residents can receive free support from social work specialists, consult with psychologists, attend mutual support groups, and learn self-help techniques for stress.
