The Verkhovna Rada established a Temporary Special Commission on the Protection of Investors' Rights
On Tuesday, May 26, by Resolution No. 15219, the Verkhovna Rada established the Temporary Special Commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the Protection of Investors' Rights.
Its main tasks are defined as follows:
1) preparation and submission for consideration to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, in the prescribed manner, legislative initiatives regarding the protection of investors' rights, ensuring equal protection of the rights, interests, and property of investment activity entities regardless of ownership form, as well as effective investment in the Ukrainian economy, development of international economic cooperation, and integration;
2) determination of priority directions for improving legislation to create conditions for investment activity;
3) ensuring the protection of investors' (business) rights;
4) conducting parliamentary cooperation with business associations and relevant structures to promote the creation of unhindered conditions for attracting investments.
Representatives of all parliamentary factions and groups were elected to the Temporary Special Commission.
